It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Miss. Rhea Bhatia as a qualified Dog Trainer and sitter.
I’ve known Miss. Rhea for approximately 10 months now and initially got in touch with her as I was looking for a professional pet sitter for my 7 year old dog, Astro. He has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) and is prone to seizures due to his condition.
I could go on pages for Miss. Rhea if I were to fully express myself, but due to the constraints of this document I’ll keep this concise.
Miss. Rhea is a dog lover. From this love, stems her passion for dog training, caregiving and pet sitting. She goes above and beyond the pups she cares for. Not only is she self-informed and educated in her own approach, on several occasions, after noticing my inclinations, has apprised me of relevant information in order to improve the quality of Astro’s life.
She takes the opportunity to educate little children, in little ways when they curiously approach the dogs, she walks. Although she only pet sits my dog with the due diligence he needs, she has also taken the effort to teach him new commands which is a testament to her delivering more than the expectation, her quality of work and her personality.
She has been able to very quickly read Astro’s behaviours and moods and responds accordingly. I have experienced her deal with canine aggression in a very fitting manner depending on the type of aggression being displayed. In her own words, dog bites are her “battle scars” and she does not allow such an untoward experience to negatively effect her relationship with the dog. Instead she processes the natural disappointed and works to integrate her learning into her work.
She is self motivated and is not afraid to leave her comfort zone, mindfully. Her love for dogs is not limited. She has successfully rescued and rehomed a cat, rescued 9 puppies (yes, an entire litter) and rehomed all of them within 6 months of the rescue after carefully interviewing potential families. She also taught them basic commands and house broke them before they were rehomed.
She takes her learnings to new heights to make this world a better place for dogs. She is a young person, wanting to make her passion, her Ikigai.
